At Big Girl Cosmetics it is our mission to not only provide the best, state of the art products in the cosmetic industry but to also offer affordable beauty products that improve women's lives. Our goal is to empower women to take control and honor their bodies to make more informed choices and feel more secure with their own definition of beauty.

Who is Big Girl?

These are the words that Kiley Russell lives by. As a mother of a two year old son and a former assistant principal and active educator in the Chicago area, Kiley knows what it’s like to balance a busy schedule within a busy world. Yet doing things just to do them never sat well with Kiley, and instead she has lived her life with enthusiasm, excitement, and passion. So when she set out to launch her skin care and cosmetic line, it only made sense to call it BIG GIRL.

Representing a state of mind, Big Girl was created by Kiley to compliment women of all colors. The refreshing tones, gentle product, and exciting colors of Big Girl provide a welcoming assortment to women’s skin care and makeup routines. The product was created to help nurture the spirit of each individual women, providing them energy, empowerment and excitement. With a dynamic palette of colors and a powerful assortment of product choices, women who wear Big Girl can’t help but feel the confidence that Kiley herself represents and set out to share with women of the world.

Designed with women of color in mind, Kiley herself knows the challenges it takes to find a skin care and makeup line that compliments who you are. Growing up with sensitive skin, Kiley learned to make her own facial scrubs from her grandmother, who taught herself to create Kiley facial care that would not irritate her granddaughter’s skin. As an adult, Kiley tried various other product lines in an effort to find makeup and facial skin care that would leave her feeling confident, comfortable, and beautiful. Quickly she found, however, that she needed to use her grandmother’s homemade recipes to truly capture the perfection she craved for her skin care and makeup product.

After working many hours a day as an assistant principal and juggling the demands of being a mom, as well, Kiley set out to turn her home made cosmetic and facial care goodies into a full time, passionate career. With the support of her family and friends, Kiley said goodbye to her role as an assistant principal and hello to making her dreams of being a mom, wife, and entrepreneur come true through Big Girl. Today, Kiley is an inspiration to the people around her and the women who wear Big Girl, proving that one woman really can do it all as mother, wife, friend, and business owner.
